Awakening in the spring

Flowering at Rio de Los Angeles

This is a site once used mainly to repair and maintain railroad cars that now offers visitors the chance to restore and replenish their inner needs. Funded by a grant from the Coastal Conservancy provided through the California State Parks Foundation,  Rio de Los Angeles State Park (web site is here) is currently managed in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, which operates this park. Shown is a picture of our Wetland Park  located at 1900 San Fernando Road.  Here’s our project’s  map location.
